Located in the northeastern region of Greece, near the Evros regional unit, Dadia-Lefkimi-Soufli Forest National Park spans a mosaic of dense forests, river valleys, and rugged terrain. Established in 2006, the park is internationally recognized for its outstanding biodiversity and is a crucial habitat for endangered species. Covering a rich landscape dominated by oak and pine trees, it supports a thriving population of large birds of prey, including griffon vultures, black vultures, Egyptian vultures, and imperial eagles, making it a prime destination for ornithologists and wildlife enthusiasts.
